Before and After

Bella is coming up to a year old and her owner was offered no advice on grooming when she bought her, so had no confidence to strip her head - Look at the difference after 15 minutes work!! An easy coat to work on.

A tidy up here which took about 2 hours, body coat was good to work on and came out easily with finger and thumb pulling, but leg and face hair is soft and takes a lot of pulling and the mars knives were used.

Head totally lost under coat, eyes not visible, a mess!! 45 minutes later of hand stripping with a little use of the mars knife all is looking good again.

A heavy winter coat, very dense and coarse, but ready to pull. 2 hours hard hand stripping and what a difference, looking really smart and so much younger.

Just a quick tidy here, done by hand with a little help from the Mars99m. Notice how much more you can see of the eyes

Note by tidying the leg hair this has given the dog back his shape to his stifles and hocks, and with the front how it enhances his lay of shoulder and cleans the neck. Removal of the belly fringe gives cleaner lines and a squarer shape.

Lula's owners lacked the confidence to strip her head and legs, but were amazed at the cleaner and smarter lines at the half way stage, they have now gone home to do their side.
